About West End Productions
Founded in 1992 by George J. Sandoval, West End Productions is a digital media production company that has produces commercials, documentaries, short videos for the past twenty-eight years in Ventura County. WEP has production offices utilizing FCP10 non-linear editing system in Ojai, CA.
Past Clients include: Rubicon Theater, United Way, Ventura County Fair, Museum of Ventura County, Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation, Lazar Radio, Plaza Development Partners, El Concilio Family Services, Lumiere Productions, Ojai Music Festival, Oxnard College, Ventura County College District, Ventura College, Oxnard College, City of Oxnard, Weber Motor Company, Ventura County Star, Ventura County Courts, Roz McGrath for Assembly, Greg Totten Campaign for District Attorney, Kathy Long Campaign for Supervisor, Manuel Lopez Campaign for Mayor, John Zaragoza for City Council, Andres Herrera for City Council, Jess Herrera Campaign for Harbor Commissioner and many more. Some commercials were produced in English and Spanish.
Curator/Programming
Since 2007 Sandoval began programming the Oxnard Foreign Film Series at the Plaza Cinemas 14 in Oxnard, CA under the auspices of the Downtown Center for the Arts. In May 2012 he founded the Oxnard Film Society in order to curate the Film Series and has also produced arts and cultural events in Oxnard and Ventura County. He is currently Executive Director.

In 2015 he produced the exhibit, We Remember Ventura County to Vietnam and Back at the Museum of Ventura County.

In 2017 he revised and expanded the We Remember exhibit and brought it to downtown Oxnard at the former Social Security building in partnership with the Oxnard Film Society and the City of Oxnard.
The Leave No One Behind Mural and Art Exhibit Continues in Santa Paula
Santa Paula, California – The Leave No One Behind Mural unveiled on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11am at The Corner Cottage, 925 E. Main Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060 to the community. A secondary art installation featuring veteran artists James Graca (Vietnam), Orlando Menchaca (Vietnam), Tomas Hernandez (Panama) and Huicho! (Afganishtan) was seen inside The Corner Cottage. Included in the exhibit is photographs by Veteran Christopher Gaynor of his 1966-67 tour of Vietnam along with ten picture plaques of the veterans from Santa Paula who died in Vietnam. The exhibit is curated by George J. Sandoval and will be open to the public until May 30, 2021. The Corner Cottage, owned by Vanessa Acosta, is open Saturday through Thursday, from 10am to 5pm. The Leave No One Behind Mural Project is embarked by a coalition of veteran support groups, immigrant organizations, and academics. Through a multi-sited public art project entitled “Leave No One Behind,” the coalition urges the Biden-Harris administration and Congress to enact immigration policy to repatriate Deported Veterans, protect Childhood Arrivals, end family separation, and reunite families.
The mural was designed by Javier Salazar Rojas, a deported veteran who lives in Tijuana, Mexico.

Currently in post-production, WEP is producing several sequences on the Latino Awards honorees for 2020 El Concilio Leadership Awards Dinner as well as oversee the audio/video needs for this celebration. This event was scheduled for April 24, 2020 but do to Covid-19 pandemic the awards dinner has been rescheduled for October 2021.
